Irralee Andrzejowska

Australian Chartered Physiotherapist and regulated by the HCPC, APT qualified Clinical Supervisor

Irralee Andrzejowska is an Australian Chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with over 30 years of clinical experience treating musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. After qualifying in Sydney in 1990, Irralee’s early love of dance inspired her lifelong interest in understanding how the body moves and heals. Over time, she became increasingly motivated to help patients move beyond simply managing chronic pain towards achieving meaningful, lasting recovery. Her search for answers led her to the mind–body approach, which transformed both her understanding of pain and her clinical outcomes.

In 2020 Irralee trained as a SIRPA Practitioner (Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association), and her expertise and commitment to the mindbody field have led to her becoming a valued member of, not only SIRPA’s Membership Board, but also SIRPA’s Advisory Board. This has enabled her to contribute to the ongoing development and standards of practice within the organisation.

She has trained to become a qualified clinical supervisor which enables her to support and mentor other practitioners. Irralee is also an excellent communicator and has taught on SIRPA’s CPD events, as well as spoken about SIRPA’s work at a number of conferences/events.

In her clinical work, by integrating neuroscience with extensive clinical experience, Irralee helps patients work with their nervous system to reduce fear, restore confidence in movement, and unlock their body’s natural capacity for recovery. She is passionate about helping people overcome pain and disability, as well as empowering her patients with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve their full potential.
Physiotherapist, SIRPA Practitioner, SIRPA’s Membership Board member and one of SIRPA’s Clinical Supervisors

How Fear of Expressing Emotions Can Result in Physical Pain

My subconscious must have been really busy one night because very early one morning, somewhere between wakefulness and sleep, I had an ‘AHA!’ moment. It may be that what fell into place for me has been obvious to many others all along. But, just in case anybody out there is ‘not quite getting it’, I wanted to share what suddenly made sense to me, just in case this personal realisation could be helpful to…

Eyesight – A personal journey of discovery by Irralee Andrzejowska

I started wearing glasses at senior school and my sight steadily deteriorated to -4.50 and -3.00 where it has remained stable during my adult years.
