About Kinda Nasser
I’m an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of experience in the NHS, specialising in rehabilitation, palliative care, and long-term conditions. In recent years, I’ve increasingly worked with individuals experiencing chronic symptoms that don’t always have a clear medical explanation — particularly those living with long Covid, fatigue, persistent pain, and stress-related illness.
Through my work with professional women experiencing burnout and physical symptoms such as pain, migraines, and fatigue, I’ve deepened my understanding of the mindbody connection — including how nervous system dysregulation, unprocessed emotions, and certain learned patterns (like people-pleasing or self-pressure) can all play a role in keeping the body stuck in a cycle of protection.
I first came across the work of Dr. John Sarno during a personal and professional search to better understand chronic pain. His work profoundly shifted my perspective and led me to discover SIRPA — a structured and compassionate way of supporting recovery from persistent symptoms by addressing their root causes.
I now use the SIRPA approach to support clients both within the NHS and in my private work. A key part of my role is helping individuals rebuild confidence in their bodies, reduce fear around symptoms, and gradually return to meaningful activity — including returning to and/or remaining in work in a sustainable and empowered way. Please do get in touch to see how I can support you on your journey.
